I purchased life straw, first the single use straws for my 'go bag', then the filter pitcher for my kitchen. I love having the confidence that my water is free from whatever is in my drinking water that could be harmful. I used to use the Brita, but found out it pretty much makes the water tastes better, but thats about all. With so many chemicals and pollutants in our drinking water today, the idea to be able to filter out most, if not all, of the undesirable components in our water, including the forever plastics, helps me to drink our tap water with confidence. My only beef is the tap design on the water pitcher. Don't like it. Just fyi

The best pitcher

This is the best filter system for removing impurities. Having had cancer and living in Philly I feel confident that my water is safe to drink. Installing the replacement was easy.

Great filter terribly designed dispenser

I really like the filter for these, the water tastes great, but the design of the dispenser body is so poor it almost not even worth it—there is no comfortable way to hold the button down to get the water, and the spout pours so slowly it takes five minutes just to fill a water bottle—I’ve tried just dumping the water out into a pitcher instead but there are HOLES where the handles are for absolutely no reason. I’m almost always dehydrated because it’s so annoying to get water out of this thing. If there was a spout with a lever that dispensed at a reasonable speed it would be great, but until they fix these design flaws it’s just a pain.

Problems with spout

This is related to the dispenser I bought not the refills. The dispenser does not let the water come out in a stream but rather comes out haphazardly resulting in leakage and spills. Tried cleaning it no effect. Any suggestions
