I'm traveling with this pitcher!

I have a LifeStraw water bottle to take to Costa Rica and I found that I didn't use it that much because I don't like sucking through the straw. I purchased this pitcher because I loved the idea of putting this water into my cooking, my tea, and a water bottle I like. I'm so happy with it and even brought it back to Costa Rica with me, stuffed with underwear and socks so it could fit into our suitcase.

Good for a big family but...

The overall product is too flimsy. I should have just went with the pitcher.
I purchased the big home dispenser around 6 months ago, and the ring around the dispenser completely broke off, along with a part of the plastic that it was clipped onto, so it can't be reattached. The latch itself is fine and we can still use it, however, now it looks like something I'm hoarding because it still works. I understand if it broke off two years after daily use, but 6 months?
On top of that the water flow is too slow to the point that I have to set my kettle down on a stool just to fill 6 cups of water. It shouldn't take THAT long. My family will even drink in the middle of filling their cups because of the slow flow.
It's a nice idea, but definitely needs more improvements.

Finally water I can trust!

I am lucky enough to have decent tap water in my area but I live in an older home so my water wasn’t as clean tasting as I’d been used to. I hadn’t been feeling well for a couple months and after trying a few other things I decided to buy a few gallons of water over 2 weeks to see if it changed anything. It changed a lot! But I hate single use plastic so I went on the hunt for a water filter system that was affordable, renter friendly and filtered water for quality not just taste. I am so happy with my lifestraw dispenser!! The water tastes so clean and I feel I can trust the filtration to keep me and my family safe! I would definitely recommend:)

Fits perfectly in the fridge. Doesnt take too long to filter. The only thing i would do to make it perfect is have the water flow out faster.

So I ordered this product and when it was delivered it was delivered to the wrong apt number and someone stole it, I let Lifestraw know and they immediately sent me a replacement and I received it. That alone was so awesome that they did that.
Now on to the water it’s really good, and it doesn’t even take that long to filter . This is definitely the best water filter I have ever bought and I actually feel hydrated when I drink water from this. Love this and I recommend it.

Everything we wanted!

The Lifestraw works very well on our well water.
I purchased some DIY water testing kits to test our kitchen faucet water which comes from a water softener treating our high nitrates/sulfates well water; I was wanting to test how well the water softener was working and it appears to be doing its job.
I then used the bacteria and coliform test on the faucet water and it showed a positive result for bacteria and coliform. I then tested the Lifestraw water for all of the heavy metals, nitrates, and sulfates, and it had the same results as our faucet water…to be expected. When I tested the LifeStraw for bacteria and coliform, it came back negative for both which made my husband and I very happy campers.
The Lifestraw is easy to fill, filters quickly, and their is no leakage iat all, including the valve.
We are extremely happy with it. Would buy again in a heart beat!
