Too large for my fridge

I had to exchange for the 8-cup to fit in my fridge. It does take a while to fill up compared to my Brita but we think it tastes better! And the design is great and aesthetically pleasing.

We go through A LOT of bottled water at our house. It just made sense to purchase this and refill our portable water bottles to do our part in cutting down plastic.

Difficult to Change Filters, Unbalanced

We bought our LifeStraw Home 10-cup pitcher and a set of replacement filters about a year ago. The filters seem to work very well. Our water doesn't smell like mildew anymore (old pipes), and the filter processes water quicker than anything I've used in the past. However, I have two complaints. One, the filters are extremely difficult to change. They are held in place with friction (rather than screwing in place) and there are no grip points. We've had to resort to pliers to remove the old filter. If you have any sort of mobility issues - arthritis, hand injury, amputation - you're out of luck. Two, the handle is not very well balanced on the pitcher. If you are pouring from a fuller pitcher, the weight of the water pulls heavily to the base of the pitcher (away from the spout) and puts a lot of strain on the wrist. I've had to use my other arm to support the pitcher while pouring. It's a really big pitcher so the small version is probably better for this, but again it's something to be cautious of if you have any mobility issues in your hands or wrists.

Fabulous water, annoying drips

I really like this filter and the difference between what comes out of our faucet and what that same water is like after the Lifestraw Dispenser is night and day (city water and old fixtures)- I truly wouldn't use anything else! My one gripe is that after six months, the dispenser is leaking profusely- was going to tough it out for the sake of good water and not throwing something away, but the flow has increased beyond it being reasonable to use. Frustrating that a great (and costly) product hasn't even made it a year!

Easy and fits nicely in the fridge, yay clean water

This was easy to setup and holds a good amount of water. We drink a lot so still have to refill every couple of days but refilling is easy as well I like the easy dispenser on the bottom. Overall I’m really pleased with the taste of the water and love knowing I’m filtering out the bad stuff :)

Great pitcher!

I’ve really been enjoying my new Life Straw pitcher! It’s high-quality, sturdy and I really like the fact that the lid has a tipping motion, so I can just place it under the tap and the water keeps the lid open while filling, hands-free!

Dripping has made it unusable :(

My family loves this water filter, it's the perfect size, taste and filtration is wonderful, however it drips from the spout so much that it is now unusable. We wake up to a flooded kitchen every morning. Please change the pour spout design!
