We exchanged our plastic one because two of them leaked. We like this one but it is so so slow in filtering. Not sure why as our other one was not that way after the first two or three run through cycles.

Pitcher part broke while trying to replace the filter

I bought this pitcher in June to replace an old Brita (which had broken) and to try to minimize the amount of plastic exposure my drinking water gets. From the start, my wife was displeased with its low capacity -- though I get that with glass, pitchers can only be so big without getting super heavy. I found it difficult to set up as the filter parts are very tight locking and resist opening. We have received 2 replacement filters but I was nervous to actually replace the filter due to how difficult the original installation was. We finally tried today and the bottom part of the filter broke immediately when we tried to remove it to put in the new filter -- we did end up trying to use a tool to get it out, that's how impossible it was, and the tool broke the plastic.
I do not recommend this product as it is difficult to use, the opposite of what you'd want your water filter to be.

I love the look of the glass pitcher and the water tastes amazing! My reason for giving it an okay review is that it takes FOREVER to filter!!!!! I drink a lot of water so this is an issue for me. I loved the Lifestraw Home dispenser as I always had fresh, cold water. I wish you had fixed the leaking problem.

Nice filter pitcher but disproportionally small filter capacity

The pitcher is pretty and I love that it’s glass versus plastic. The filtered water, which I remineralize, tastes great.
There are a couple of downsides. The pitcher is quite heavy and unbalanced (bottom heavy?) when full, sometimes requiring two hands for handling and pouring. A redesign in the handle might be helpful with this. This is definitely not the ideal pitcher for anyone with arthritic hands or grip issues.
The filter holds significantly less water than the pitcher, and is a bit slow. Thus, it is essential to refill the filter, at the very least, after every single pour. I usually fill 20 oz. water bottles, which is more than the filter holds, meaning I have to remember to do extra refills even when I haven’t poured anything from the pitcher.

Don't you just love when you're looking for a solution, and someone has designed exactly what you had in mind? This is it. A beautiful, glass pitcher filter, with a silicone base. It works. It looks great. I use it every day. It came with clear instructions. And I love that the company works to provide clean water to communities that need it.

This is a great product. The water tastes much better. I like the fact that it eliminates not only harmful chemicals but parasites. Also appreciate that it is made from glass and not plastic.
