Obsessed! So pretty and so functional. Takes a while to fill up but does a great job taking all the unwanted stuff out of water.

Slow filter
on October 6, 2023

I love the look of this, so sleek, was very easy to put together. I'm giving 3 stars only because of the slowness of the filter. Luckily I am a single person household, but don't think this would work for a family of multiples. The time it takes to filter through the canister that is filled is the pace of a dripping faucet. I try to fill it up each time I pour a glass, so I've never been able to fill it to the top. I often find myself standing at my sink waiting to add more water to be filtered to try to get it to a good level. Also, if I fill up the canister to be filtered, and then want more water, if there is any water in the canister and you try to pour the already filtered water out, the canister water also gets dumped out.

Life changing for health nerds

If you’re a health nerd who has been geeking out on which water filter system to buy, just stop here and get this. It has positively improved the quality of my water, like instantly noticeable. The glass is a good clean delicious touch, plastic yuckyuck, just be kind to yourself and get the glass, even if it’s the smaller jug. It also looks pretty, bonus!

Not What I Expected

It takes roughly a half hour to fill the water pitcher. After I watched the video on YouTube, I was under the impression one simply held the water pitcher under the kitchen faucet and that was all that was needed to fill the pitcher with water. This is not the case. Initially, after wasting a half gallon of water, it took almost an hour for the pitcher to fill. Although it now takes only a half hour, it is a time-consuming process. However, because I like the concept and the actual pitcher, I have decided not to return it for a refund.

Had higher hopes

Don’t get me wrong. It’s a good pitcher. I really like that it is glass with minimal plastic. Prior to this I was using a Zero Water pitcher that is plastic. I have a sensor meter that would tell me when the filter needed to be changed (it lights up). I noticed the water tasted not so great out of the Lifestraw. Used the meter and it lit up (detected contaminates). So now I run water through my Zero and then filter through the Lifestraw (as I bought a year’s worth of filters). Meter doesn’t light up and the water tastes good. I also found a 3rd party review on YouTube that sent the Lifestraw filtered water to an independent lab and found it didn’t filter many things out. You asked for my feedback, here it is.

Great for home - please make a smaller size for travel
on October 15, 2023

While traveling, I prefer to pack a pitcher so I can fill my lightweight, easy sipping water bottles. If LS made one just a bit smaller (5 cups?) with no handle (hourglass shape), I would 100% buy it.
