Great tasting and safe water. Beautiful pitcher!

Have several LifeStraw products. Love the taste of the water and that I don’t have to buy them in single serve plastic bottles anymore. The pitcher is beautiful!! The glass version is heavy than expected. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the internal filter is very very slow. Hadn’t had a chance to call as I have an extra in my stock that I am using.

Quality materials, imperfect design

It's well built if heavy, but the way the pour spot is designed you have to beware not to get tap water/unfiltered water in the pitcher while you're filling it through the open spout. There's no hood or function to keep water out of the filtered compartment when filling, which completely defeats the purpose. It also allows small bugs in, which is unfortunate as it takes away from the ability to leave it outside on our patio table with company. Looking forward to an update in design. It would be five star if that design could include a way to pour water while it is actively filtering. Aside from that, when used with care it filters amazingly and looks nice in the counter. It's a two hand weight for most- heavy glass. We're using this filter for well water that's already been filtered once, in a daily use home.

Incredibly innovative!

This water pitcher is a total game changer for home filtration! Our family lives in an area of Arkansas that has poor water quality so we always use a water filter for our drinking water. So many other pitcher styles I’ve tried were either plastic, or cumbersome and hard to fill, or left a fishy taste to the filtered water. With LifeStraw’s pitcher I don’t have any of those problems. The vessel itself is sleek and modern looking and made of glass, the water tastes better than any I’ve had since I lived in Vermont—crisp, clean and pure. What really sold me on this pitcher though is how you fill it. Every pitcher I’ve tried has those horrible lids that you can’t open when your hands are wet, LifeStraw’s filling mechanism is so innovative and different. You just put the lid under running water from your faucet, and it flips to let the water in from the pressure—no messing with lids! As someone with joint problems in my hands, I almost cried happy tears at how easy it was. Add all this to their mission to donate clean water with every purchase, and you’ve got a customer for life. I’ll never use another pitcher for as long as they make filter refills!

Great tasting water!

After 2 weeks away drinking wonderful well water, my city water filtered through the refrigerator filter tasted of chemicals and I was sure PFAS were also present. I didn't want a plastic pitcher filter so I was excited to learn about LifeStraw's glass one.
The water tastes amazing!! It takes very little time to run through the filter and the pitcher easily fits in the door of the refrigerator. It seems sturdy enough but not too heavy when filled. I'm very happy to have the LifeStraw glass pitcher.

Worked well but cracked pretty quickly

The filter works well and the design is nice however the plastic cracked pretty quickly just from regular use. Will see how the glass product fares

Lid broke

Pitcher works fine but after a couple months, lid won't stay open. Doesn't look like I can replace just the lid. Only way to get support is email with 5-7 business day wait.
