The BEST - but want thicker handle
on February 10, 2023

I bought this for the NSF certification. Water in my area is very hard, it pours cloudy white. This is the only filter of this kind I found with certifications. It looks sleek, filters well, but I JUST wish the glass handle weren’t so thin. It feels flimsy and more likely to slip out of my hands.

I’m very pleased with the Lifestraw glass pitcher. The water tastes great, and the pitcher is stylish.

FINALLY -- Fresh, Clean Tasting Water!
on February 17, 2023

I absolutely love my new water pitcher. I especially appreciate its classic -- and practical -- styling and that it's made of glass. It looks great on my kitchen counter. The rubberized base is a great addition; no slippin' and a-slidin'!
Out of the faucet, my water has that horrible chlorine aftertaste. This filtering system renders fresh, clean tasting water -- or I should say water with no taste -- which is exactly what I want. What a stunning difference!
When full, this pitcher does have some heft to it. Simply support it underneath with one hand, and that takes the weight off when you pour.

Great water but large filter

Filter takes up too much space. And it’s hard to secure top if too much water.

Like it, but don't love it

I really like the design and the filter does a good job, but it is heavy and hard to maneuver when trying to pour into a smaller vessel

Takes an entire day just to fill the whole pitcher with water.

I’m told that it being “slow” is only supposed to be temporary. I’ve had this thing for months and it’s virtually unusable because it DRIPS the water you’re trying to filter — therefore, it takes almost an entire day to which I have to keep going back every couple of hours to fill it. News flash: I work 40 hours a week, I can’t devote my life to refilling the filter every 2 hours because all it wants to do is DRIP. I seriously hate this thing but I can’t even return it because it’s been months of me trying to make it work.
