Slow filtering

I want to love this pitcher but after weeks of using it everyday, the filter is still extremely slow. Because the area that you fill up is so small, it takes multiple refills over the course of sometimes 20+ minutes to actually fill the pitcher.

Makes no sense still uses filters housed in PLASTIC, and then the water SITS in plastic after it's filtered!

I keep looking for a water filter that has NO plastic, but all the filters are still housed in PLASTIC, and like this one, the "filtered" water still SITS IN PLASTIC. It's mind-boggling how they tout they remove microplastics, but house the filter in plastic. So, the water you drink is still soaked in plastic. . . . . . . . . nothing removes it upon pouring. Why is no one talking about this??? It's like everyone, everywhere has been brainwashed, somehow. Every single water company in the USA is like this. Cause us Americans are apparently, super stupid. They keep buying it, and ones like it.
There is ONE company that makes it right, but they don't ship to the USA. I wish companies here would use the clay pot method that has sand, carbon and colloidal silver inside. Forums everywhere are filled with people looking for this or similar methods that have no plastic at all. It CAN be done! Whoever creates this in the USA will be filthy rich!!!!

Works as intended. Took a few minutes longer to setup than I thought but not too hard to understand the instructions. The lid part isn’t ideal for me but works fine. Tastes like real water.

We love the look of the pitcher, much more elegant than our plastic BRITA -- and most importantly, the water tastes noticeably better! Thank you for providing this glass option at a reasonable price for the quality.
