I had to adjust the spout lineup after putting it all together and a piece of the plastic filter holder lip snapped off on Day 3. I was not overly stressing it, I swear. It's an expensive investment to break this quickly.

Would have given 5 stars but I'm a senior and it's hard getting the filter section in and out. It's also a little heavy when full of water.

Silicone base wobbles

The pitcher is very nice looking but the silicone base doesn’t fit properly and makes the pitcher wobble.

a second lifestraw pitcher purchase

have been a longtime user of lifestraw pitchers. A reliable method of purifying water. This time was a good purchase experience. My only comment is that the quality control process needs a review. The one we received had the rubber protective ring on the glass pitcher glued on crookedly making an awkward appearance. Still works fine.
