7 cup glass pitcher

while the GAC filter is the best for water the way the water is held in the housing and drips out is unusual. we cannot completely fill the pitcher because the water backs up and wont drip out of the filter. consequently every time we use the pitcher we have to re-fill it which really shouldn’t be the point of a water pitcher. If it was able to fill up all the way that would be much more useful.

slow to filter

While I really like the glass pitcher and filter, I find it is very slow in filtering water and not much capacity. I have resorted to filling up a gallon dispenser with the filtered water so it is available when I need it rather than have to wait for it to filter. I wish the larger dispensers would be made of glass rather than plastic. otherwise it's a good product.

A true delight in the kitchen!

I had purchased this item for my grandmother, to urge her towards drinking clear water from the glass and foregoing the plastic. I set it up for her and it stands on her kitchen counter, ready whenever she is. She likes the glass and the colored grip, adding a small flair to her more functional-styled kitchen. She says the water tastes better and cannot wait to recycle the rest of her plastic water bottles - a win in my book!

I’m very much enjoying using the glass 7 cup lifestraw filter jug. I feel good supporting the great work that the company does, while feeling also as if I’m doing as much as I can to reduce my exposure to microplastics. It works great and looks good one my countertop, reminding me to keep happily hydrated too!

Love my 7-cup LifeStraw glass pitcher

I've bought two of these now. I keep one at a family member's house for when I visit and want to filter their city tap water. The other I use when spending extended time in Mexico to filter water that has already been filtered—but to further remove the unpleasant taste and probable microplastics. I love that the pitcher is GLASS and aesthetically pleasing, and the water tastes great. I worried reading some other people's comments about the filtering being slow. I add water every time I take water, and the filtration speed has been fine for my needs as one person.
