[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice filtering pitcher, very easy to set up and after running one full pitcher full through the filter you dump it out and refill then your ready to use the water. I have well water and found that the filtering gave the water a more crisp fresh flavor. Would be even more noticeable I believe if you had another water source like city water.

Good product for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this products for over a month now and really like it so far. The biggest pro to it is that the filter is good for 1 year. I have had other similar products in the past, but never one with a filter that lasts that long. It's a very nice feature. The design is very simple and sleek. You don't even have to remove or touch the lid to put water in, just simply set it under running water and it fills up.The only flaw about this product is I feel like it pours a little slower than other ones. Overall though, a very nice product.

Crystal clear water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the LifeStraw Home 7-cup water pitcher a little over a month ago. I wanted to give it a fair chance before during a completely honest review. The pitcher is great. I live in a trailer with well water and in an area where there is a lot of sulfur in the water, which has not only an unpleasant odor, but also tastes disgusting. We live on bottled water to drink and purified water to cook with. You can imagine why a cost cutter this is in my situation. The LifeStraw pitches filters the chemicals out of the water eliminating the odor, taste, and gives the water crystal clear clarity. I have used it over a month and the filter is still going strong. In fact, the only thing I don't like is the fact that it only filters 7 cups at a time. The LifeStraw Home 7-cup water pitcher is a wonderful asset and well worth every penny!!

I love the philosophy of the company and the design of the product, but you need to make the handle a bit lower and thicker. It does not feel safe to carry the water around with the glass jar. The handle is also on upper side, so without knowingly I kept on bumping on to the granite top when filling up for more water.
I think you have a room to think and make better product! I still love your philosophy so I want you to think about this in terms of females with shorter height and weaker strength than men. I still prefer glass because I could really scrub and put into hot steam sanitizing option in the dishwasher. Plastic is not safe to do that for a long time.

Great Product Getting Better

I bought two glass pitchers this past year, and sadly broke both due to granite edge on counter tops! But Lifestraw has solved this with a silicone coaster that protects the bottom and curved side. Works great. And they kindly replaced my pitcher. I also have discovered they now make a safe plastic pitcher which I simply love....it’s lighter. I’ve never tasted better water than what one gets from Lifestraw...delicious and crisp! They provide great products and causes for our increasingly needy world.

I love this pitcher! I use it all the time. Great taste! Yes, you have to fill it up often, but I am not so lazy to walk to the sink and spend 30 seconds to fill the cylinder. I use it for cooking, drinking, tea... I would definitely recommend this product. Best pitcher I have found!
