i gave the home 7-cup glass pitcher as a birthday gift to a very practical friend. the knowledge that friend has a way to ensure potable water is a gift to me as well.

I was trying to purchase a non plastic water pitcher filter as this was advertised (glass pitcher) and I received a plastic pitcher with no explanation from the company!! Terrible!

All good except the cap

I like what the Life Straw gets out of my water. But the filter housing cap is extremely difficult to open. The design is sleek, yes. But the taper on such a small surface means it is very difficult to get a good grip on it. I had to ask a male friend who was visiting. What am I supposed to do in future? Wander around and search of a young man with a strong grip?

I never knew water could taste so good!

The water taste so good. It truly taste like it is from a well. Everytime I have a glass I keep saying how good it tastes and how much better it is than our other water (we had a brita. ) I have been telling everyone I talk to about how they need to get one. It is so pretty too, if I was okay with room temperature water I would leave it out as decoration!
It is a little tedious to refill due to the size of the filter. It only can fill like a glass and a half so if you want to keep it full you need to refill it even when you didnt use it. But it is WORTH IT.

The product works just fine as far as I can tell BUT … your service is below par. I’m currently trying to purchase replacement filters. I went on your site & used your chatbot to inquire about the out-of-stock situation with the membrane microfilter (in the interim, you’re not accepting orders). After several hours, I was still waiting for a response. That was on Tues. On Wed, I used the contact form to ask the same question. Here we are on Friday, and I’m still waiting for an answer. If for some reason, you are unable to provide a date as to when you will be accepting orders again, it’s a lot better to tell the customer you’re working on it and that an answer will be available by such-and-such date, than to leave him or her wondering if the question is even getting thru.
