LifeStraw Home 7-Cup Pitcher, awesome!!!

Have only had this pitcher a few weeks and I absolutely love it! First few fills filtered slowly as expected and have gotten faster gradually. I also bought the silicone base and it’s a nice addition that adds solid grip. Would definitely recommend this to others!

So far, not so good

The membrane filter on the pitcher takes over 2 hrs to filter just one filter housing full of water. That's after 15 or so attempts. My replacement filter is ordered so once I get it I can let you know.

Poor Ergonomics

The pitcher is too bottom heavy when full, making it difficult to pour. It hurts my wrist to pour. Also, base is bigger than Brita and LARQ pitchers also. Their rectangular shape fits better on counter and in fridge.

Easy to set up and use. Appreciate the convenience and design. Packaged well. The spout is great for pouring into small openings. Water tastes a bit salty, must be my municipality.

It doesn’t drain and I have tried rinsing it the product’s filter constantly.
Now, I’m asked to provide a Serial number and “Receipt”
Why don’t you have the receipt? You are able to inundate me with emails
on your products now, but can’t even stand behind just sendiing me a replacement?

Too soon to judge

After 6 weeks cracks appeared in the previous 2 carafes. It has not been long enough for me to judge how well the new carafe holds up.

I love it!! At first, I was worried, as the flow through the filter was a little slow when it was used for the first time. But as the air was removed from the filter, the flow improved. The best-tasting water ever, and the glass container is beautiful 👍
