Plastic Alternative

We've been trying to cut down on plastic and after our 10 year old plastic water filter pitcher broke we decided to opt for this glass filter pitcher.
This pitcher is definitely more aesthetically pleasing than our previous one.
Minor inconveniences of this for the first couple weeks: very slow to filter through the reservoir into the actual pitcher and the actual filter reservoir volume is quite small. We were used to the Brita ptichers with larger volume that filtered fairly quickly. We adapted to this by making sure we refill it after each use regardless of how much we used.
After about a month or so these small inconveniences no longer bother us and we're happy with this alternative to a plastic pitcher. Also appreciate the fact that the filter (claims) to filter out some of these forever plastics since the filter is itself made of plastic.

I love it!! It is so convenient. I thought it was going to be too heavy to pour but with the bottom cushion I just lean it over the edge of the sink and hold my glass down in the sink and it is easy to pour. Very easy to refill. Love the top configuration. Ingenious!!!❤️

Besides, I loved how easy it is to use, and how good the water tastes. I have the lilac packaging and it is beautiful... But beyond that, all the Social responsibility behind LifeStraw has made me very aware of the value of taking every sip of clean water. It is honestly a brand that has a lot of impact, incredible products along with a great message and I love having learned about LifeStraw

Mine doesn’t filter the way it should

I got my pitcher filter like three days ago, I did everything as instructed, but the water didn’t taste like filtered so I checked it with a device which was used to check how much the water is filtered and it showed 135 which is just 5 points less than actual water. The only thing this filter did was that it removed the chlorine taste. Do all of you got the same results or just mine had this problem. I am giving two stars just because the pitcher is made of glass and that is it.

Both the glass and plastic 7-cup do a great job filtering but they they could use a better handle. The balance is very bad when picking up and pouring.

I bought this one last week it didn’t taste like filtered water so I checked it with TDS and it was the same level as tap water. So disappointed in this one.
