Glass seven cup pitcher

For anyone reading this, be aware when you first use and do initial fill up, ours took two hours to "prime" . Now, we use it every single day. It fills much faster. My first reaction when it took two hours was the company should put in its directions be aware this is normal and will get better the more you use it. The taste of the water is much better than our filtered refrigerator water. I picked the glass because over time plastic might crack but if you are elderly and can't lift the weight, get the plastic . Also, even though pictures are provided on how to open the top and bottom parts, be aware it is not hard, but not easy. Once you know, it is a piece of cake. Lastly, buying a ten cup pitcher won't fit in your refrigerator. The picture is misleading . Hope this helps.

Filters way too slow.

This is not a good solution. It takes forever to filter one serving of water. Bummer because I liked the idea of glass but that also makes this very heavy. Skip this for one that filters faster and holds more.

I adore the design, and taste, but it is pricey and slow to filter water. This necessitates leaving it by the sink and filtering whenever we are using the sink. I still recommend it and am happy it filters microplastics unlike the Pur that aI was using. Also it is a glass pitcher which other brands don’t have available.
