Off grid lake cabin

I bought this for my off grid Canadian place on a lake. I’ll use it to filter and drink lake water. I plan to try it at home thus week and get a second one if it works easily

Nice pitcher

Easy to set up and refill. Frequent refills (once daily) for 2 people. It's a little heavy (plastic) when filled, but easy enough to use. No leaking or other issues. Nice, clean look. Much prefer this to the dispensers, which leaked.

Do Not Buy - Can't Even Get a Pitcher Not To Leak
on February 24, 2024

The water quality on the filtered water has been great but we've been through two of these and eventually the bottom just starts leaking. We aren't especially aggressive with it or anything. I don't know how to trust a supposedly high quality filter if you can't get a pitcher not to leak.

I live in the country and have a high water table, which means "crud" in my water. This has been a game-changer for me!

replacement 10 cup pitcher

we received the replacement black 10 cup pitcher. it still has the same issue as the two previous ones. the lid does not stay in place and keep coming off; very aggravating. none of the other 6 or 7 pitchers we’ve purchased for other places or friends have any issues; just the black 10 cup

Water filter

Great product. I had to clean the plastic seal several times, because it turned green because of the bad water we have. We have PFAS in our town water ( well water) It is also hard to change the bottom filter

Seems to be good

I can see why people complain about filling it. But all I do is when it get emptied or I use some of the water, I just fill it then, let it sit, but it has to sit on my counter. Won't fit in the refrigerator which is a bummer. But I just filled the water pitcher that I have in there, .then I have cold water all the time.

Difficult and Slow

I really think highly of this company and the brand but I have spent the better part of an afternoon trying to set up this water pitcher. The instructions say that flow gets better over time, but at this moment it is going to take several hours to fill up the pitcher. Beyond that issue, twisting and pulling down is not working to remove the bottom so I can't even get the carbon filter in. I am not strong, but I don't typically have any trouble opening jars so I don't think I'm the issue. I think this would be very difficult for some people to use. I'm really disappointed with the product.
