We live this filter

This is a great filter for us. We were having trouble with our PUR filter, which was constantly getting clogged up. The LifeStraw filter is beautiful, easy to fill and works quickly. The taste difference between the filtered water and the tap water is very noticeable. Our first pitcher came with a defect, and LifeStraw sent a replacement without hassle.

Started Leaking...do yourself a favor and just buy the glass one

Two months into using my pitcher I noticed tiny cracks forming in the plastic. A month later it started leaking. Electrical tape fixed the problem for a little while but now the pitcher is completely unusable. The pitcher was a gift so I'm only now receiving the proof of purchase necessary for the warranty claim...though I'm not hopeful it covers cracks. Hoping they'll let me switch to glass.

I bought this for camping…nothing worse than campground water. It took ALL the funkiness out!! Tastes better than bottled!!

The filter and pitcher are clearly well designed and manufactured. Fit and finish is superb. I purchased this primarily for use in our RV when we're camping. Whether from campground water or stored water in the RV, it always has a bit of an off-taste; and of course you never know what's in there that you can't see. On a recent 3 week trip I ended up going to the store and buying bottled water for drinking and coffee. And, should we ever find ourselves using water of unknown or questionable quality, I can't imagine that LIfeStraw isn't the best choice. So, whether it's drinking water or water for coffee/tea, I have some confidence that it's clean and is going to taste good.

The taste is so pure and clean, just what I had hoped for; easy setup, very nice-looking design---clean and smart looking.
