Better than Fiji water

This is the nicest, crystal clear water I've ever tasted. Our village regularly has quality issues and it's not a problem for us anymore. The top reservoir can be coated with sediment and the drinking water is perfection. Thank you.

Not Good Enough for This Water Snob
on January 20, 2026

I use a LifeStraw Peak Series filter for backpacking, and I can't say enough good about it. I seriously care about water quality which is why I carry such a heavy filter. So when I moved from my home that had a plumbed under counter RO system to a new home without an RO system, I decided to try the LifeStraw Home High-Capacity Dispenser. After a few weeks of use, I am now replacing it with a countertop RO system, and these are the reasons why. When I received the dispenser and after running several gallons through it, I then tested the water before and after filtering with a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter. I found the pre-filtered water had a reading of 213, and the post-filtered water had a reading of 209. When I reached out to LifeStraw about this insignificant reduction, the response in part said there's no scientific evidence that TDS below 2,000 mg/l affects health. I boil 1. 5L of water in an electric kettle each morning. I have been using the LifeStraw filtered water for that purpose since moving to this new house. I noticed there was sediment in the last of that water poured from the kettle, and I found there to be a significant build up of "stuff" on the bottom and sides of that kettle to the point that I've been adding white vinegar to the kettle and boiling that at least once a week to clean the inside. So while the filter may be removing some bad things and improving water taste, it is not improving the water to the point I consider acceptable. So depending on your level of concern about the water you drink, this may or may not be a filter that you'll be satisfied with.

I have this as a Christmas gift and the recipient is thrilled with it - he's told me several times how much he likes it.

This is a great product! I was originally going to order the glass pitcher but I glad I opted for the larger size.

Straw pressure

I just learned from my son that it's too hard to suck the water out of the bottle because he drinks a lot of water in a day. Is there a different top that he can use Gotham he can drink the water faster?

BEST WATER FILTRATION POSSIBLE
on January 23, 2026

The filters could not be easier to use. I'm so pleased with clean, pure feel and taste my water is transformed into with these no brainer pods. I don't care how much you spend on water filtration-LifeStraw has no peer. Check them out

Not practical/convenient
on January 23, 2026

Design looks good on the packaging and in advertising. Assembly is easy. Capacity of the initial water tank is small and it takes up to 7 minutes to filtrate. To fill the pitcher - you need ~4 fills. And it doesn’t fit under the standard kitchen faucet! So annoying. No returns. Some reviews states it made from glass - it’s plastic everything. So far water tastes plastic, but that’s personal taste. And once more - no returns. Because you unwrap the filter! Fine, can afford that.
Nice knowing, that child in Africa can have water for a year from my purchase, really?! Good luck to that child. Will you post my review? Will not recommend, will not buy next replacement filter(s), but will reuse as a pitcher, maybe.
Respectfully, not returning customer.

We love the pitcher's ease of use. Changing the filters is no big deal once you figure it out.
