Replacement filters are very hard to obtain

The products are very good in design. However they are rendered ineffective by the fact that replacement filters over the past 4 months have been unavailable. I can not find filters for the LifeStraw bottle size 24oz / 700ml.

New Water Filter

I had heard about LifeStraw from a friend and was very excited to change water filtration systems, especially one that filters out microplastics. I am, overall, happy with the new filter, but I have found the design of the handle surprisingly bad. The handle is very thin, and very high up on the body of the pitcher. I imagine people with hand or wrist mobility issues, and especially elderlly people who may not have much hand or arm strength, would have a very hard time lifting this pitcher. A thicker, more ergonomic handle placed further down the body of the pitcher to offset the weight of the water would make it much easier to use.

It took me a minute to figure out how to change the filter but it’s so worth it. Best water I have ever had. No more chemical smells or tastes from our city water.
