A great starter into the world of D&D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Begins was a simplified version of the original game. I loved that experienced players would still enjoy the story and adventure with the less experienced. It is recommended for older kids (10 and older). The graphics are amazing as well. I was so thrilled to have together opportunity to try this game. My daughter had a blast playing with her friend.

Amazing game

The characters are vivid, the storylines cool, and the dice are super neat (10 and 20 sided). My 8yr old LOVES this game- he can't stop taking about it! Thanks!

D&D for smaller tables

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trying to scratch that TTRPG itch recently, but between stay at home orders and having no real friends, my prospective table size is vanishingly small. The encounters and setup of this simulacrum of D&D has helped, and without having to navigate the pitfalls of character creation I was able to get my kids in without too much hassle.

Great Family game and D&D intro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for decades and found this game to be a joy to play with my family. It plays like an adventure/dungeon crawling board game but adds basic D&D mechanics. How can you go wrong when you get to roll 20 sided die? It adds some role playing elements to the game that is also a fun way to ease players into that part of Dungeons and Dragons that can sometimes seem the most intimidating. Giving everyone a chance to play as the Dungeon Master also breaks up the monotony of just standard turn taking play. There are several “boss” monsters and enough encounters to make the game fun through lots of replay. The different characters have different attributes and personalities that allow the player to have a different experience playing each character in their own unique way. I was worried when I first read about this game that the attempt to combine a board game with this level of traditional Dungeons and Dragons elements might result in a game that just missed the mark on both accounts. They nailed it. Highly recommend it for anyone…from veteran D&D players to those who have never played at all.

It is a great game to play on family game night and my kids as well as the adults loved it. I particularly loved the 4 mini figures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The board game is easy to set up and start playing. It’s a good fun thing to do that doesn’t require Internet. The figures are kinda small and not very detailed so might be easy to lose them if not careful. It’s good fun though and decent quality.
