I have a 12 foot kitchen ceiling which required an extension. The extension was perfect and I did not need to use the section that came with the vent. The contractor said it was easy to install and straight forward. Looks fabulous!

Easy install on my GL14i hood. I have a 10’ 9” ceiling and this extension worked perfect. Super easy to install thanks to all the adjustments available. Looks beautiful. Also installed the appropriate crown (CM6-GL5i) fir a custom finished look. The only complaint was with the shipping because they kept changing the delivery date and I had to change my appointment with the contractor.

I had the new Zline hood installed 2 weeks ago. Excellent product. Very nicely packed to prevent any potential shipping damage. The only suggestion I would make would be to add louvers to the upper part of the chimney extension, doing that would eliminate the need to buy the shorter/normal chimney just to get the small louvered section.
