Awesome pan the will heat evenly and quickly for all your family recipes. Stainless steel pans are perfect for all your acidic foods such as tomato and vinegar based sauces. An indestructible, commercial grade pan for all cooking surfaces -especially induction cook tops. The large cooking surface is perfect for searing , frying and sauteing your favorite family recipes . Great for one pot meals. Stove to oven to table perfection.

Industry 5 is an excellent choice for Induction cooktops but also has a superior performance on gas and electric cooktops. Made with 3 layers of heat conducting aluminum and surrounded by Stainless steel, 18/10 on the interior and 18/0 on the exterior these pans will impress even the most experienced home cooks.
Stay cool handles, beautiful finish and no rivets only adds to the value of these pots making them an essential addition to your kitchen.

Demeyere sets the industry standard for high quality cookware. The Industry line would be right at home in a restaurant or home kitchen. It's constructed with 5 thick layers, including 3 layers of aluminum, one of the best heat conductors. This guarantees your pan can get screaming hot, ideal for searing and frying. Other quality features include dripless pouring rims, a very comfortable handle that's welded, not riveted, that will help disperse heat and is easier to keep clean.The additional helper handle comes in very handy when the pan is full. No coatings, so there's nothing to wear out ever.

I changed everything to Industry 5 because I like fill cladding. But the big surprise was cleaning them. I don’t know if it is the finish or not, but I just soak them in hot water with a little Dawn overnight. Most of things like hash brown potato remains seem to float off with just a stream of water. The rest comes off easily with a mild Scotch-brute pad/sponge. They clean up as easily as non-stick.

I cook on a cerama-glass electric range and therefore need all the help I can get. This pan and others in the Industry 5 range heat up very quickly and evenly. The pan is very heavy and the helper handle is useful. There seems to be a great deal of metallurgy behind these pans.
