So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I unboxed thtoaster and ran it through about 5 toasting cycles out on the patio to get rid of the new-toaster chemical smell. It seemed to be solidly buit of good quality materials and functioned quietly. I then ran it through 2 toasting cycles with fairly dense white bread from a local bakery to get a feel for how the darkness control worked. The second set was from the middle of the loaf and had always extended over the top of the heating elements in my prior toaster. In the Zwilling, the tall toast left only about 1/4 inch sticking out-in my view quite satisfactory. Both sets were toasted evenly on both sides-much more evenly than prior toasters. I also ran a single slice through, and it also toasted evenly on both sides. I would like to have a countdown timer at this price point, but I was looking first for build quality and even toasting. And so far the Zwilling has done what I wanted better than any predecessor.. And I like the look of it better than I thought I would. So far, so good.

Makes Toast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this toaster for about a week and while it takes a bit longer than I would like, the bread, eggo and bagels have been evenly toasted. It toasts and that’s all we can really ask for! I like how solid the toaster feels.

Solid Toaster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely sturdy construction, and it looks great on my counter. I like the nice clean design. Most importantly, it's great to finally have a toaster that actually toasts evenly and consistently, which is so hard to find these days! A bit taller than I expected, but that's not really an issue for me.

Perfect toast every time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both sides perfectly brown (we prefer @ setting 4-5 for toast), and nice sleek design! The crumb tray is an easy push open, which I know I will be happy about when we start using this more and I need to quickly clean.
