We absolutely love our new toaster from Zwilling. We have had several toasters through our 60 years of marriage, and this is by far the best. It crisps our bagels just right. English muffins are toasted to perfection--not pale and soft and not burnt. Our new toaster seems to take just a little longer to toast, but it is very quiet, and it is worth the wait to get the results we prefer. This toaster is costly, but we think it is worth the price. It is quality built and seems like it will be in service for a long time.

Expected Better From a Higher-End Toaster

Had to send this back for a refund. The crumb tray would not stay closed. Never used the toaster so it wasn't the result of a dirty tray. Also, when lifting the toaster the tray would fall out. A lot of money spent for a cheesy toaster. I would have expected something better than my WestBend toaster.

Our toaster did not work at all. It's disappointing that at this price point we would have the inconvenience of not being able to use it. Also saw that it takes up a lot of counter space. But the return process was easy so that was a positive.

Stuck n bagel mode

Only toasts on one side. Stuck in bagel mode I think. Even tough we never used. That mode. It’s two weeks old
