Not great quality

The blade cap leaks liquid into blender after 1 year of use despite cap being screwed on tightly. Unfortunately, it is a nuisance to use. I wish we went with a higher quality product.

I've been holding back on giving this review because I questioned the build quality. Yesterday, my suspicions were confirmed.
Before I first bought the blender, I wasn't thrilled with the design. Specifically, the inability to add items while it's blending. I worked around this by being dogmatic about quantities of ingredients I used. This proved useful.
While using this blender daily, I experienced the before mentioned design flaw of the blades unscrewing the cup. Luckily, I learned to watch it closely and saved myself from cleaning up a huge mess.
After a few months of ownership, I began questioning the build quality. Mainly, the cup. To date, additional cups are not available. I find this inexcusable. I see no reason but lack of profit margins to not offer replacement cups.
Finally, yesterday, this blender met it's demise. Attempting to make my morning smoothie with all the same ingredients and same quantities, the blades would not turn. The machine buzzed. Nothing happened. Then lights out. Dead. Not sure if an internal fuse blew but there's no way to tell. You cannot open it to check. No way for end-users to service.
After 5.5 months of use - It's now an expensive doorstop.
Not a fan and now puts a sour taste in my mouth for ZWILLING in general.

Stopped working after light use

The blender no longer works. When it is plugged in, it lights up, but the control does not function. It was not used very heavily, but I did like it before it stopped working

Realizing I had become addicted to my daily smoothie, the boyfriend decided to equip his bachelor kitchen with this personal blender. The serrated blade efficiently crushes ice and smooths frozen fruit and leafy greens. And I love the convenience of the to-go container with drinking lid.

Smoothies to go, yes please! The drinking lid that is included with the blender makes to-go smoothies so easy. I am out the door early every day, so this is the type of convenience I am looking for. This is a powerful blender too which helps with the smooth drinks as opposed to many blenders that can't do the job and leave large chuncks of frozen fruit or ice in them. This has quickly become a much loved addition to my kitchen.

A great personal blender!

A great personal size blender, perfect for all my green smoothies. It breaks down hard foods easily and really makes your drinks nice and smooth. Love that the blender cup can be used as a personal cup for drinks on the go. A great blender with a sleek look and compact size, so great for not taking up a lot of space on the countertop and it’s at a decent price too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just what I wished for! Upgraded from my Ninja to this Porsche of a blender. Top blender, gorgeous design, easy handling quick cleaning. To be able to use this container as a cup and store whatever you don’t drink right away in the fridge makes a huge difference.
