Great Kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a big improvement over the Breville iQ pure I had before. The double hulled stainless container keeps the water hotter longer. All parts of the lid that come in contact with the water (including the screen) are metal. The preset temp choices have more range 140/160/175/194/212. The middle three on the Breville (195/200/205) are too close together to be meaningful and the low is only 175. The cord is a little on the short side which can be good or bad depending on where you put it, but it’s not a big deal. Best of all, it comes with a 5 year warranty. The Breville was only one, and mine conked out after 2 years. The Zwilling is an improvement in every way!!!

Misleading Videos and Photos + burnt stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. Control panel is in Fahrenheit and not in Celsius as in the product photos.
2. Control lights are actually a cut out numbers/icons on a white layer backed by a light and the cut out isn’t very straight (see photos). Not a big deal but was unexpected.
3. Burnt stains appeared after first use. I used tap water. Not sure if this is normal or a defect (see photos)

Good design, poor material quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kettle has nice and slick design. Very functional. However the quality of materials need improvement. After several use 3-4 boils, the inside heating area started to develop rust. This is unacceptable for the kettle in this price range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cool design but no use due to rust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the look of this kettle. It boils water pretty quickly, quietly and it keeps it hot for much longer in comparison to my old KitchenAid kettle. After reading reviews, I made sure to never let the water sit in it to prevent it from rusting. After approximately 1.5 months of use, I have noticed the brown rust spots on the heating element inside the kettle... really disappointing, cannot use it anymore, now need to go through the hassle of warranty claim... :(

This kettle is great. I’ve had several before (diff. Brands) and this one heats the water the fastest. The stay cool outside is a nice feature too.

Interior bottom showing rust within a month of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks and functions great, we used it multiple times a day, drying after each use and leaving lid ajar after. Heating element has begun to show signs of rust after a month of use, even when hand dried after use.

Perfect for the Work From Home Office

I am a work from home 40 hours a week employee. I Love having this kettle for my office because I can prepare my coffee and tea without leaving my officel. The water heats in less than 3 minutes and stays at the heated temperature for at least 30 minutes. It's great if I want to use my french press for coffee too as the water is ready so quickly. I've also used the kettle as a coffee carafe when serving guests at dinner.
The lid has a mirror effect when open, allowing you to see how much water is remaining in the kettle. The measurements on the inside wall are handy. There are no implements within the kettle which makes it a breeze to clean. The kettle doesn't heat up on the outside, so it is cool to the touch. This is a great price and has a better warranty than other more expensive thermal kettles on the market. I love its modern, clean lines look.

Big 1.5 liter capacity fills my biggest teapot with water to spare. The kettle heats water quickly and multiple temperature settings means I always have the right temperature for whatever kind of tea I brew. Solid, high quality design and construction and seamless stainless steel interior and exterior makes me hope the kettle will last many years. Two tiny complaints: seating the kettle on the base is a little fiddly. It takes a bit of moving around to seat the round pot on the rectangular base's charging stem. Second, the lid release button and lid latch are a little stiff and require more pressure than expected. Probably not a problem for bigger hands.
