Another Henckel Quality Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for a long fillet knife with a flexible blade - not just to fillet fish but also different meats, vegetalbles and most of all, fruits!
I discovered the Zwilling 7-inch Four Star Fish Fillet knife online and did my research. I have owned 2 Henckel kitchen block knife sets and was really impressed with their durability and quality so when I discovered this fillet knife I ordered immediately.
An added benefit of this Four Star model is the included full leather sheath holder. This keeps the knife clean, secure and most of all SAFE when I reach for it in my kitchen cabinet drawer.
The 7 inch blade is really flexible so I can get clean, razor thin cuts on any hard to reach areas of meat. I peel grapefruit and tomatoes and apples with this knife! Its also been of great use getting the membrane off of rib slabs.
All in all its a fantastic knife that I am so happy to add to my Henckel kitchen knife set. I will be keeping this knife for many decades to come. Thanks!

Perfect for making Philly cheesesteak

In addition to using it to prep fish it also works perfectly for cutting super thin slices of chilled ribeye steaks to make philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Our old filet knife wasn't up to the task but this one makes it easy.

Super sharp blade easy to maintain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fillet knife blade is very sharp and easy to maintain edge. The blade has the right amount of flexibility. The sheath is a little large but very well made. Designed with loop for belt to thread through. Very pleased with it

Fish! Here I Come! :)

After having a perfect fillet knife for over 33 years, I left my fillet knife outdoors, way up in the mountains, lost forever. Being learned in steel and cooking, isn't that a primal male instinct? LOL. I have a backup of course. A twenty dollar wonder that gets the job done, but always searching for the perfect marriage of steel and human functionality. Finally, after searching for over two years found it! The perfect fillet knife!
