Love the design; wish that it worked.

I will start out by saying that the design aesthetics of this are gorgeous. I had such high hopes, especially with the reputation of Zwilling behind it. Hower, the motor tends to spin without spinning the blades. They only catch if they are not encumbered by the frozen fruit you may be trying to blend. Which means preparing something as simple as a smoothie can be frustrating. You must use quite a bit of liquid for it to work. It also sounds like the motor is about to overheat by the time you get everything to the right consistency. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it is a far cry from the Vitamix I had previously.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impossible to Clean

There seems to be a design flaw in the safety lock opening at the top of the handle. It collects dirt an is impossible to clean, since it is inside of the handle. This is unfortunate for a product at this price point and an otherwise great blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the pre-programmed settings

This blender does it all and looks beautiful in the process. Unlike other bulky blenders this is one I don't mind leaving on my counter. The pre-programmed settings make things like smoothies a breeze...you just set and start and it goes through all the speeds to blend and crush to perfection. I'm actually making home made tomato soup as I write this...it comes out smooth and hot. I love the self cleaning feature and it even has a safety feature that the blender will not start unless the lid is on properly. All the bells and whistles at an amazing price.

I use this blender EVERY day for smoothies in the morning and meal prep in the evening. I was impressed the very first time I used it to make a smoothie with fresh and frozen fruit, greens, and ice. It tore through it all in a matter of seconds and left me with the smoothest, ice-cold smoothie; I was hooked. I have made nut butters, and soups (if you use the manual side at level 10 for 5 minutes, you get seaming soup). I have not met a task this blender cannot do. Made my life in the kitchen so much easier.

Now THIS is a blender!

Wow, the power behind this blender is terrific, but the technology is what makes it exceptional. The wave shape of the bottom helps bring the liquids up to the blade rather than fall below and not get blended. The shape of the blade seems to make the biggest difference on the way food and ice are processed. It actually cuts thru it rather than mashing it. The thicker blades will last much longer and the winglets make the motion more efficient, giving many more years of use.

The best blender

I've been using this blender nonstop since I've gotten it. I love how well it makes everything, from smoothies to more smoothies, the way the blade can break down frozen or hard foods and make everything smooth is awesome! I've made hummus, and pesto sauces in this blender and it's done a great job. Love the sleek look of it and I want to keep it out on my counter top. It's a great quality blender!

Bought this recently to replace a Hamilton Beach that i had for years. This Blender is well made and the Blade is super strong & Sharp. Motor is soooo Powerful and pulverizes ice cubes and nuts (home made peanut butter). Looks great in my New Modern Kitchen.
