[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd X1 carbon I had over the past 5 years. The first 2 were issue by my company, and when I had a need to by a new laptop for myself, there was no question. X1 Carbon is the best value laptop in the market.
I absolutely love this machine. Hasn't been as bad as the P52s or P43s in terms of Thunderbolt reliability. This one is the road warrior king! It is so light and snappy, and the ability to have cellular makes this all the better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 to replace a Dell Latitude E7250. As a consultant for international business, I need speed, dependability and to be able to conveniently take it with me when I travel. The X1 Carbon has met all my needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very lightweight, but powerful and fast. Replaced my Yoga Ultrabook, but this X1 Carbon is lighter and faster which is good for travel. Unfortunately I haven't been able to travel yet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from an earlier X1. I stayed with this laptop because it was lightweight and lightning fast. This new model was everything I asked for and more. The only advice I would give a buyer is that you check for and install Lenovo updates immediately upon receipt. Some drivers weren’t working out of the box, but the updates resolved this.
