Only quibbles are I wish it had a second USB C port and an SD card reader built in instead of the Lenovo docking port, and I'm not crazy about the power button on the side. Trackpad is good, keyboard is nice, bright screen, good battery life, love that it was available pre-installed with linux (even though I swapped out the SSD for a larger one I already have and reinstalled) but it was good to know everything would be supported. I would love if RAM was upgradeable instead of soldered on, but you can't have everything in a laptop this thin and light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good work laptop, the only thing I don't like is the so frequent updates I have to run every other day. A bit overboard and for things I really don't even use, it's an inconvenience. But as far as the actual laptop performance it is great and I love that it is super use friendly, no complicated programs to work with and it is very secure.

I heard from a friend that many people use Lenovo Thinkpads for programming and looked into the latest model. Purchased the laptop, had it shipped, and to my amazement, it has been the best purchase I haver ever made. Has a nice and sleek design that doesn't feel or look heavy, easy to shutdown and pack away when needed, doesn't take up too much space, and probably has the best performance I have ever had in a laptop. Lenovo has me sold on their products.
