This was my 3rd Lenovo X1 but it was unlike the first 2 in one very important way. The screen display was unacceptable and I returned it. You could only see the screen clearly if you viewed it head on. If you were a few inches to the side it started to grey out. I believe they had a bunch of bad screens and decided to make it a feature - the "privacy screen". This is a very bad "feature" as it made the laptop unusable for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
