Great for designers except

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a macbook pro and a surface before this. The one thing that stands out that I don't like is that the buttons are not backlit which I surprisingly need more often than I would think I need that. the pen can sometimes be fritzy but otherwise it's a great machine and does all the design work that I want. There's not many aftermarket protection accessories available for it though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 is a well-designed, lightweight yet powerful machine. The keyboard is laid out well and has a track-button, which is a huge help. There is tons of storage, security and other excellent features. I bought this for my new independent legal and consulting practice because we had older X1's at my prior law firm. I wanted something similar. I am using it as is; no keyboard, mouse or monitor, and it is fine. So far, everything as been fine and I have no complaints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazingly lightweight. The i5 processor is a little disappointing. The button on the right side of the computer gets in the way and sometimes I put it to sleep by accident.
