I wanted something lightweight but durable and powerful enough to manage multiple apps, interface and activity without hiccups. So far, so good... I've been brand loyal to Lenovo for my last three laptops and only purchased a SurfacePro to allow for more portability. After my experience with the SurfacePro, which was not bad, I wanted to go back to a true laptop and was concerned only about the weight/durability of a laptop. This ThinkPad X1 Carbon was the right call. I'm a happy customer
