[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Lenovo laptop, and I'm not impressed. I've already had lots of issues with it in the first couple of weeks of using it -- maybe it's because I'm not familiar with this brand or OS (I ordered a custom ThinkPad with Ubuntu as the OS instead of Windows for a class I'm taking). Anyway, either way I don't think I should be having so many issues. When it goes into sleep mode I can't get it to "wake up" by moving the mouse or clicking buttons, so I have to force-shut it down by holding the power button for 30 seconds and then turning it back on. Also, I'm having a lot of issues with the Firefox browser. It's extremely frustrating. I would probably return it if I could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I'm happy with this laptop. It's light, has a ton of memory, and the battery lasts forever, which are my main criteria as a student. Two main issues. First, and less importantly, the fingerprint sensor often doesn't work - it's great when it does work, but even with clean hands and a clean sensor, it can't read my fingerprint half the time. Secondly, and more importantly, the laptop camera is surprisingly low quality - enough that I'm considering purchasing an external web camera for Zoom classes. Fingers crossed I spend less time on Zoom this school year than the last one, but still. What gives, Lenovo?
