Super light weight, top end specs and my favorite little red trackpoint for precision mouse-ing. It's very hard to find something this thin, light and powerful yet at a "mid-market" price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best computers to send your kid off to college with! He likes all the ports. The sound is incredible. It's sturdy and light weight. I won't tell him that it's built to mil spec or he might want to test it. It's at the top of my price point but I'm pleased that it will be a machine he can use through college and beyond. The only downside is that the memory is soldered in place.

It is so fast!
I use it for school and I use VMWare which means I work with multiple virtual machines at a time. I used to drag every time I had to power on the virtual machine for Windows10 on my previous HP laptop.
The only thing I would like to have is the numbers on the side from the keyboard. But it is a compromise I made when I got such a great deal for this amazing laptop.
