[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Apart from the shipping time and delays, which made the laptop take month to get here; I am really liking the X1. It is very light weight and sleek. The keyboard layout is very intuitive once you have a little time with the laptop. performance is what you would expect from a high end laptop. Just don't expect to play any intensive games on this machine. No videocard means no true gaming. This is fine as it is not billed for that purpose. That battery life so far is holding up like a champ!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet, very light laptop. I bought the linux version and had to manually extend the partition to use the entire hard drive, though
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing laptop. Everything that I was expecting and more. Took months and months of research for me to actually pull the trigger on purchasing a laptop. Really relieved I chose this one. Lenovo is an amazing company. Thanks again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having the option for such a powerful machine to come preloaded with Linux (Ubuntu) was great, and its been perfect so far. Its as thin and light as a Macbook Air, but with you'd expect from a ThinkPad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad X1 Carbon has been great so far for my junior year of college. Not only does it's clear screen allow me to closely follow all my classes, but it's high powered Window services allow me to do great work on my internship as well! An overall great laptop for any student.
