[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light, robust, minimalistic, powerful and with full Linux support, X1 Carbon has all the qualities that I am looking for. It has more than enough processing power for most software development, it is light enough to carry between lectures and meetings and it just looks gorgeous. I am very happy about this purchase, which is not often!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This time I bought an X1 Carbon to replace the original dell latitude E6430 for work. I bought that laptop in 2012 and it still works well. Just because the windows 7 OS is no longer supported by Microsoft, I have to buy a new laptop for work. I need a device with high reliability, low heat generation, quiet and portable equipment. I have also considered Dell latitude 7410 or Macbook air. The reason why I choose X1 Carbon is the good price. This laptop is absolutely quiet, and its heat can hardly be felt. These are in line with my expectations. As for reliability, I think I will verify it in the future.
So far so good. Only had it for two weeks and it's done the job well. Bought it to replace a brand new Dell XP 13 that was a nightmare. Had one issue that was resolved super fast with my Priority Support.
