Need to access 24 tabs in a web browser? Your 16GB of RAM will easily let you do it.
Want to run at minimum 2 virtual machines? Say no more. The X1 Carbon will fulfill that need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Preliminarily, this labtop was exactly what I needed for work and personal use. It is lightweight yet sturdy and has the best and most comfortable keyboard that I've used. I was using an older Macbook Pro. The screen size is large enough to use for hours but small enough that it doesn't add weight to the device. I like the on/off slider for the video feature and the on/off power button on the side of the device. I thought about buying a Surface but it seemed almost too delegate; and the screen would have been slightly too small for daily use. The security features and multiple types of connectors stood out from competitors (one of the only smaller laptops with hdmi).

I wanted to retire the PC & Laptop (MS Surface) that I had been using for both home and work to one device that could manage and store everything. This seemed to fit well for me. The docking station is essential for me to have everything all set up for my dual monitors, printers (2), scanner and storage devices. It's so nice to just seat it into the docking station and everything works great! It's only been a short time, but I'm so very impressed. It's fast with plenty of storage and works well for my multi-tasking.

Good but with some issues with screen and heating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall happy but 2 issues. 1. Heating issue, getting hot quickly. 2. Display view angle issue, meaning in certain angle only you can view it perfactly. If you change view engle screen gets dark or shadow effect.
Performance and technical specs are very good.
