[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second ThinkPad x1 Carbon and I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality, build, and especially the keyboard. I've also used the T series ThinkPads in the workplace and because of its reliability, I've extended that preference into my personal life. These machines are reliable and I wouldn't feel comfortable owning a notebook of a different brand.

This is my first laptop and I am very pleased with how all works and how fast it is. The only thing I would change is for it to have an automatic keyboard backlight that switches on with the press of any key. Overall very easy to use and luckily for me, very intuitive.

Hard drive issue only a few weeks after purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard drive was damaged from the factory and had to be returned. Since this happened so quickly after purchase I returned the product and will not be replacing it. I liked the size and portability overpriced in my opinion though.
