[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it has been pretty solid for my day to day! I am able to power my 2 external monitors and after the initial setup it has been pretty smooth going. I am not a fan of the red mouse in the middle of the keyboard however, it does stay out of the way. The function key threw my off a bit because of the location but those are minor items to me. It is light weight and does not slow me down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop for work and play. No hang ups using multiple programs at a time. The display is so sharp, it has me spoiled! Netflix and simple internet games look amazing. Battery life is good. I can work all day without charging. Laptop gets warm, but not hot enough to burn your legs like some can. The Lenovo Vantage is a great little tool to keep track of all your maintenance as well. I'm very happy with my purchase and spend about 18 hours a day on my computer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent laptop! I upgraded to the Carbon Gen 8 after 2 previous Lenovos (which carried me through grad school and my first couple jobs). With work-from-home expected for the next year for me, I wanted a new laptop that would preform faster. The Carbon Gen 8 delivers! I can turn on the laptop minutes before a video call without expecting any delays in start up or programs. I frequently have a remote server open, as well as several applications, and the laptop is very fast and switches easily between the applications. I love the new top row functions with the pick up/hang up call option. The battery life has been very good-- I am able to be very mobile in my house as I move from room to room. I usually only charge the laptop in the evening while sleeping. This was a big investment for me but I expect the laptop to hold up over the next couple years. Definiately recommend.
