[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth Lenovo, second laptop, and second X1 (Previously had a 3rd Gen). With 500GB SSD, 16GB RAM and the latest generation i5 I feel like I really got a performance upgrade at a bargin price. I use demanding data science programs and performance is good. Multi-tasking is solid. I opted for the 4K screen and it is stunning, well worth the extra investment. This will outperform many competitors and if you need more computing/GPU capacity Lenovo has some other options to get you more power. Overall, this laptop is unbeatable. I had my previous X1 for close to 6 years and it is still running ok, just time to retire from service. Lenovo is an outstanding company with great customer service, information manuals, and most of their products are extremely user friendly and easy to repair (I never experienced a failure on mine). I rarely write reviews but the quality and value of this laptop is compelling. I was considering changing models and manufacturers to try something new and I am so glad I stuck with the X1 family. The new model is eons ahead while respecting its ThinkPad heritage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I constantly think to myself that I love this laptop, I get excited just to browse online. I wish it was bigger but keyboard, build quality, design all perfect. I wish the battery lasted longer but I got the highest resolution screen I could find and it's so small and light it's still impressive how long it lasts. Really easy to travel with it for work, videos look unreal, I have no complaints.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Lenovo and I'm very happy with it. Can't believe how long I've been carrying around a brick with such low intensity color. I thought at first the screen must be on super bright, but nope, it's just super high quality.
I really appreciate that this done arrive with a bunch of crap already installed. I've really hated that on my other computers. The only con I have is the function and control keys are opposite of what I'm used to. Luckily, the sticky key option has let me program it so they operate like I'm used to. That's pretty awesome!
