[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine. Exceeded my expectations. There are a few gotchas if you are coming from an older windows 7 machine
1) you need to review function key settings in lenovo advantage as out of the box they are set to "alt-function"
2) battery settings are handled by windows 10 and aren't too obvious if you are used to lenovo power settings application
3) battery life isn't anywhere close to advertised unless you are in extreme power-saving mode which make the computer slow to a crawl to the point of being useless unless you close all apps and just surf the web. but above that extreme setting, the machine is awesom
4) power management is handled by the windows battery icon NOT the big green lenovo vantage ico.
5) could use more memory -- for a machine like this 16gb just feels underpowered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TP X1 is my business laptop for completing Home Inspection reports while on the go. The quick fingerprint login and long battery life means no inverter needed to plug into the vehicle. I have to grab lunch and eat while i work on a 3hr report in my truck. I panicked when I spilled some of my drink on my laptop...then it just wiped right up with no problem. Didn’t know keyboard was spill resistant at the time. Cant say enough about this laptop. Once i finish my report, i can use the Broadband 4G LTE to get online and send the report to my client....then be off to the next Inspection. Definitely worth the money and keeps me from having to find sketchy free wifi.
