[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good parts and materials. The weight is nice. They keyboard for the most part is good, but removal of the full size Ctrl button is a design travesty that I could not get over. If you use keyboard shortcuts such as CTRL+C, CTRL+HOME, CTRL+SHIFT+Arrows, then this is not the keyboard layout for you unfortunately. Rather than space for the often used CTRL they sacrificed it for space for a Function key which I never used, and never have any occasion to use a single time. Other problems with this computer is it uses an old school internal speaker that beeps and boops when you turn it on the likes of which I have literally not heard since the 80s. It also will occasionally beep at me when I am typing too fast for unknown reasons. The lenovo bloatware software that is installed against your will also is problematic, if you use the default Windows zoom settings it is fine, but as soon as you adjust the scaling, only some UI elements change and some critical buttons remain no longer are the right size appropriate for the rest of windows.
Overall a pretty good PC but some major design oversights make me feel terrible for anyone who spends a premium on this and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
