The laptop is great overall, the battery does not last as long as my hp spectre . I wish I had upgraded to the i7 instead of the i5because it is kinda slow when using C++ or Matlab

Wish it had shipped a little faster as I was without for a few days but given all the supply chain issues I considered myself lucky. I'm still addicted to the little red trackpoint. One of the few keyboards that still has it.

This is great for everyday computing, common work applications, and pretty much anything except gaming beyond casual games. This is a great companion for work in the field due to its long battery life and portability. The screen looks great, and for typical use, the 1080p resolution works well. The keyboard is exactly what you would expect from a ThinkPad. My only complaint is that the fingerprint reader does not always recognize my finger properly. Over, this a very high quality notebook that is pleasant to use.
