[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device came in a beautiful package and the installation was quick and easy. The start up is fast , internet connection is good and performance is great. I currently use it as my home computer for checking emails, browsing the web and zoom calls. The face recognition feature works well and so does the fingerprint recognition. The sound quality is amazing, compared to my previous Lenovo Thinkpad T420. The battery life is good. The computer is stable even when put to sleep and opened multiple times. I am giving a 4 star since the device is very prone to dust and fingerprints. The video quality is also not as clear as expected. Overall satisfied with the computer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase the Lenovo X1 Carbon 8th gen (16 GB RAM, i5 processor, touch screen). I am very happy with this laptop. It has a larger screen than my previous Dell XPS 13 and is lighter too. The battery life is approximately 4-6 hours until battery life goes to about 30% which is good but not the all day battery life I was expecting. So far, I have only been able to find that in apple products but I digress. The screen is good for my purposes (programming, no gaming) and the maximum brightness level is definitely bright enough. One issue is the placement of the control and function buttons on the keyboard. I am expecting the left side control button to be on the far edge but that is where the function button is. It takes a few days to get used to but not a deal breaker. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this machine to anyone interested.
