This is easily one of the best laptops I've used in years. Its build quality is phenomenal, being very light yet feels sturdy. The speakers and display also make it an excellent choice for content consumption, being able to show a wide range of colors and play music very loudly. The keyboard meets expectations like Thinkpads usually do. The wide range of ports also makes it much more versatile than other ultrabooks which have to make sacrifices to achieve their slim dimensions. Linux software support is excellent too, as everything practically works with the latest drivers.
My boss need a reliable machine that was reliable, easy to use and carry. When this machine arrived it put a smile on his face. His smile got wider as he kept using the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased my second Lenovo and would not have considered another brand for even a moment. My first Lenovo Thinkpad lasted 2-1/2 times longer than any other brand computer I have ever owned and it is still working well but I grabbed the screen to keep from dropping it and damaged the screen. It was replace the screen or buy a new one and after this much time, I was ready for the latest technology. I love Lenovo’s and so will you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great lightweight laptop with a big feel. Love the full feature and perfect action feel of the keyboard. The matt HD screen is more than adequate and still provides rich, vibrant colors. On full brightness the battery life is short but if you put it in battery saver mode it is more than adequate and the good news is that it charges very quickly. The speakers are wonderful much better than most laptops I have experienced. The finger print reader is sensitive and may not read your print correctly from time to time. I am learning that you need to position your finger in just the right spot to get it to work and it will work. Opening and shutting down the computer is lightning fast. The 14 inch screen is a nice size and easily used as a desktop alternative. Some people may prefer the more square aspect ratio of say the Dell XP computers but the 16x9 aspect ratio of this unit still works very well. Overall an excellent, well built, super lightweight, responsive full featured laptop with lots of ports and incredible sound. As a side note it does not get hot nor can I ever hear the fan run.
