This product does the job efficiently!

I am very satisfied with this ventilation range hood. It effectively removes the smoke and vapors produced during cooking. My friends can no longer tell when I've fried chicken the night before. I like the variable fan speed setting, which allow a quieter fan when less power is needed. The lights are also excellent. It Is Very Easy To Clean! The baffles are simple to remove and a good spray with a cleanser like formula 409 will remove all the accumulated grease.

This is the second one that I bought. Loved the first one which is now in my rental property. The second in my new home. Installed it when I moved in. Have recommended this product to all my friends and neighbors. Very easy to keep clean. If you are tired of looking at that grease spot on your ceiling, this is what you want.

This product is very reliable. Easy to use and easy to clean. The lightbulbs are a cinch to replace. It's been three years since we've had it and it's like new.

Stylish Looks & Very Functional

I installed this range hood in my kitchen almost 2 years ago after examining and installing many other makes in clients homes. As a project manager renovating many kitchens, I found this unit very well built with a powerful exhaust blower and great lighting for the cooktop below. I am familiar with many others, but I chose this one.
It is easily cleaned and has a sturdy, classical and professional design. Installation was simple with one person helping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, but with some drawbacks

The hood looks sleek, except the filter grates show much more than the catalog photo. I'm not pleased with this "industrial" look, but will live with it because I like the performance. It does the job I bought it to do. I can't really speak to ease of installation, because I wasn't at home when the contractor installed it. I like the way the filters remove for cleaning in the dishwasher. I like the variable speed control and the different light levels, but I wish the control knobs for them were easier to access, ie by sight rather than feeling around for them. I had a real problem inserting the light bulbs -- and in fact, had to call the contractor back to put them in, and he had trouble doing so. There was no book with it, so was not aware that there was a tool until I read other comments. My sales rep provided me with a book later.

After moving the electrical to the proper location on the wall, I added wood to the underside of the cabinet it was to be mounted under. Had my son and his friend hold the hood in place while I secured the hood with eight screws to the cabinet above. Most of my time spent was on the prep work and then installing the duct work after.
