[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect little beast of a laptop. I've owned a couple of other top notch brand name gaming laptops, and this is in a league of it's own. Just ultra fast, and ultra portable. Best value for money I could find.

Awesome portable gaming laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Asus Zephyrus G14 comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS which tops most of the laptop benchmark lists. The dedicated graphics card is an Nvidia RTX 2060 which is able to give good FPS at 1080p with all features ON. Battery life is excellent for a gaming laptop, you should be able to get 8 hours on standard tasks. The laptop is light and portable so you can take it anywhere. Build quality is good. The keyboard and trackpad are responsive and feel good. I like that the screen lifts the body of the laptop up to allow airflow and a better typing position. A few cons, first no webcam, and second the fans are loud. All in all the performance to dollar ratio is solid. I highly recommend this laptop to part-time gamers and programs.

Totally Stoked! Just received my new ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop. Been using it all day and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. I bought a Dell XPS 15 laptop last week and had nothing but problems the first 4 hours so I returned it. I am now lifetime ASUS user!
I would recommend this to a friend!

bang buck and battery life

for what this is which is a light weight compact gaming laptop. I have used this as a daily driver for many months now and can honestly say I've only had one problem. with out getting to much in to that just download any and all new drivers in the MyASUS application. the CPU does run kinda warm but their are multiple ways to deal with it and a google search on that subject will offer way more info then I'm willing to type. That said at any of the profiles in armory crate all work fine with out thermal throttling. I see good boost clocks often anywhere from3.5Ghz to 4Ghz. This has probably been brought up in another review already, but I feel the lack of Thunderbolt is missed badly on this laptop. The Ryzen 9 4900HS is an amazing cpu all things considered and if the ability to use a Thunderbolt eGPU would extend the longevity of relevance to gaming. I'm not going to go in to anymore of the what should be obvious downfalls to any thin and light laptop. If your doing basic things to some light gaming in an older game the battery holds up extremely well. I haven't tested it so I cant give you any numbers but I've never been in a situation where the battery held up when I didn't have the charger or wasn't near a plug. If your just looking for a gaming laptop in this price rang your money is probably better spent else where unless you can find this skew or the one with the 4800HS (but still with the RTX 2060 Max Q) on a good sell. I have seen that happen on best buys website before so keep a look out. Now Thin and Light gaming laptop I would argue of this writing its with out a doubt the best bang for the buck period. Hope this was helpful for someone.

Bought this a month ago and it’s ultra portable and fast. I’m glad they made a gaming laptop that isn’t bulky but still packs a lot of power

I got this before Christmas after researching a bunch of laptops. I needed one for VR. This laptop is VR capable. I got an email to write a review and perhaps receive a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback. Worth a shot. Ha!
I don't have any experience with gaming laptops, so have nothing to compare to, but so far it's been fine. Quick, does everything I want it to do.

beast but not a smooth experience...

the laptop is a beast in its own kind no doubt but it has no smooth bugfree ui and os management i face small bugs and issues all the time but on the same hand its powerful so i would say it will be a bliss if it becomes an always dependable but a beast . i think it should have smooth experience at this price point thankyou ❤️❤️
