Before I begin, I must disclose that I am writing this review for the purpose of receiving a 90-day warranty extension. I bought this product over a month ago and I can say without a doubt that this is what I was looking for in a mobile gaming laptop. The Zephyrus G14 is an all in one device that can run games that use a tremendous amount of power and it doesn't fall behind in getting your normal everyday work done. I was personally looking for a laptop that can run games well and not struggle to open a chrome tab or two, and the G14 does all that. The model I purchased was the ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 14" Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q - 1TB SSD - Moonlight White. This laptop can run games like Tom Clancy's The Division 2 just fine in high settings or even ultra (thanks to the RTX 2060 Max Q), and another great benefit of the laptop is the battery life. I have been able to get 10hrs of battery life on the G14, which is insane especially for a gaming laptop. Of course, that was just while doing light office work and having the GPU sleep in the background, but no one is going to be running power-hungry games when you aren't plugged in. Furthermore, the 120 Hz display makes everything feel incredibly smooth when you game. I am a student attending college right now and the G14 performs exceptionally well in my day to day work. All in all the Zephyrus G14 is an exceptional laptop that I feel comfortable using every day for school and it is an absolute beast when running games, this is the kind of laptop I would recommend to friends who are looking for the sweet spot in mobile gaming.

Quality laptop but with one problem

I bought this 3 months ago and I have but one issue. I love everything from the graphics to the sound system but I was experiencing a blue screen problem when I have the laptop charged. I later realized that this is due to a problem with the battery and adapter. I am hoping to get this resolved ASAP. Aside from this, I love using this laptop for almost everything--gaming, streaming, content creation, etc.

This is a lot of computer for the price. Some improvements/issues: 1. Only available in White as of 08.19.20 2. RAM and SSD NVME m.2 had to be swamped out to get the "ultimate" experience from the AMD Ryzen 9 4000HS processor, and the nvidia GEFORCE RTX. 3. Fingerprint reader works 25% of the time. 4. No webcam!?!?! 5. Backlit keyboard actually makes it more difficult to see the keys unless in total darkness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *AMD Ryzen 9 is a game changer, for the price, this thing zippity doodas anything you throw at it, and really is the number one pro of this machine. Intel might be in trouble. *Geforce 2060mq runs the games I throw at it on ultra-high 80+ fps no problem. FO76, COD,RDR2 *The battery life is a godsend, I am pushing 9+ hours light browsing, office work and movies at full charge, and there is an option to limit max charging to 60% or 80% to reduce damage to battery if you leave it plugged in to game most of the time(which I do), which will increase battery's life. *The 120hz FHD screen is actually quite bright and looks crisp and clear for gaming and movies. The price to performance ratio is really good. I know for sure this laptop will last me for more than 4 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this laptop about a month ago. I bought it because of the size-to-performance ratio and the fact that it didn't look to "gamery". The white and silver chassis have a really classy/modern look. I don't play extremely graphics-intensive games. The games I do play, the G14 handles with ease (Fortnite, Civilization 6, Diablo 3). I also use the laptop for music production (Ableton Live, MPC 2.0) and photo editing (Photoshop and Lightroom).
Battery life is amazing for a gaming laptop. You can get about 10 hours battery life if you apply the settings found in the pinned posts on the Zephyrus G14 Reddit page (r/ZephyrusG14).
Upgrading the SSD and memory are easy. You just power down the laptop, remove some screws, lift off the back panel, and the RAM and SSD are right there. Because I do a lot of photo editing of large image files, I upgraded to the EVO 970 2TB SSD and 40 GB total RAM (32GB + 8GB soldered on RAM). For gaming, you'd probably want to stick with 16GB of RAM because if you upgrade the RAM it will no longer run in dual-channel mode (instead it runs in Flex mode).
I've got my G14 paired with a 27" 4K monitor which is amazing for photo editing and playing Civ 6 in 4K.
