The do-it-all Laptop

I bought this laptop for school as well as some casual gaming. The battery last me through the whole day and the gaming performance is excellent. For such a thin and light gaming laptop, it delivers a lot of power. The system does run pretty hot to the touch but it doesn't throttle. Overall, this is the laptop to go for if you want to do some gaming but not sacrifice productivity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Gaming Laptop Period!

I have had a few gaming and productivity laptops throughout the years and this is the best of both worlds. The design is simply stunning. The build quality and materials are also excellent. This feels like a much more expensive machine.
The Screen is bright and ips with 120hz. It is a great panel.
The AMD 4900hs apu is a beast. Not only is it super fast but it has excellent battery life!! It generally runs cooler than Intel.
The speakers on this laptop are some of the best I have heard.
The 14" form factor is about perfect in terms of portability and usability.
The 2060gpu is fine for the cost.
Basically if you like quality, performance and portability then this laptop is for you!
In my opinion the best Windows laptop of 2020!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I waited for years to upgrade to a notebook that I felt was worth upgrading to. I wanted something that was next-level and next generation. On top of that, I got something that fits the bill for any application I throw at it. Work, school, and gaming in one sleek and sexy package. The best surprise was the sound. The speakers are really well balanced and produce great low end like I have never heard on any other notebook. Loud and clear!

More Power? Yes! Fast GFX? Yes! Battery? Yes!

I love this notebook. About 10 hours on battery when just surfing, about 5 hours of heavy use on battery.
Ryzen 9 packs more power than expected from a sleek, ultra slim, 14" notebook. This 8 core 16 thread CPU rips heavy work loads apart. Complete with an NVidia RTX 2060 (would rather a Radeon, sadly not an option)

Everything I expected and more! I bought an USB docking station which easily supports my 5 monitors.
I admit ASUS and AMD changed my mind. This is now the best gaming system available. To offer clarity, I have a few other (ROG) and other branded gaming notebooks (all bought in the last few months) and I can't find one that does an all around better job than this one.
This ASUS notebook allows me to work/program for 10 hours or game for 5 hours on battery, travel easily because it's light and 14 inches, and be productive all around.
Please note: I am disclosing that I receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback

Fast & solid performer

I received this in early May. Excellent performer and very well built. Only 2 minor issues. The keyboard backlighting is not effective so the keys are most readable when the backlighting is disabled. The other issue is the heat generated when the games are run with maximum performance gaming settings. These are minor and really do not impact the great performance of this laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did alot of research and settled on this gaming laptop. Glad I did as it works amazingly. I wouldn't give it a 5 star review if not for the forums online letting me know which settings to change to get the best out of this laptop. The overclocking burns way too hot and makes the fans way too loud. Buy setting the power settings to turn this off keep things quite, cool, and still able to run all my games smoothly.

Pros: Powerful, portable, has all of the ports I need. The performance is excellent.
Cons: my model didn’t have programmable lights in the lid. Keyboard backlight is disappointing.

Great laptop for gaming and surprisingly battery

I bought this laptop about a month ago and LOVE it. The RTX 2060 and Ryzen 9 4900hs powered through ANY task I threw at it be(Blender, Autodesk Inventor, ect). But thats not all when I am not creating and on the go the battery life is great. I get an easy 7-8 hours of battery life doing light work such as internet browsing and video watching. The build quality is also pretty good. Basically zero keyboard deck flex and average screen flex. Some of the downsides are 1. It can get pretty loud when doing GPU and CPU intensive tasks
2. The right side of the keyboard can get very hot doing GPU and CPU intensive tasks 3. I had to download a third party fan controller to get zero fan
In the end this laptop is a beast and i'm sure Asus will keep improving it with updates overtime.
